NPD and Vendor Development Incharge- CNC Specialist

Lead New part development and vendor development activities for the CNC machine line by owning process planning, CNC programming, tooling/fixture development, and ensuring suppliers are developed for required parts/services.

• Study drawings/specs, define process route, datums, and inspection checkpoints for new parts
• Create/prove/release CNC programs (Fanuc/Siemens); optimize cycle time and tool life
• Develop/select tools, holders, gauges; design/prove fixtures/jigs/soft jaws and setup method
• Run trials/first-offs, troubleshoot machining/quality issues, coordinate with QA for approvals
• Vendor development: identify/shortlist vendors (tooling, fixtures, machining support), RFQ comparison, trial approval, quality/capability evaluation, and supplier performance follow-up
• Train operators during trials and handover; maintain program/setup/fixture revision control

Qualifications: ITI/Diploma (Mechanical) with 6+ years CNC machining experience; strong setup + programming; drawing reading and measuring instruments proficiency; vendor coordination experience preferred.
