Details Of The Post

Job Title : Academic CounsellorType : Full Time ContractSalary : 17,500/- (Rs 15000/- with an additional allowance of Rs 2500/-/Incentives shall be provided based on performance)

Job Summary

The Academic Counsellor will be responsible for engaging with prospective students and guiding them through the admission process. The role involves managing leads, providing detailed information about ASAP Kerala’s courses, and ensuring a smooth and supportive admission experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Management: Attend inbound calls to the ASAP call center, particularly for inquiries related to various courses and programs. Conduct outbound calls to potential customers using provided leads and databases.
  • Student Counseling: Provide one-on-one counseling to prospective students about course offerings, admission requirements, and career outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Admissions Support: Assist students in completing application forms, preparing necessary documentation, and understanding the admissions timeline.
  • Follow-Up Communication: Maintain regular communication with prospective students via phone, email, and other channels to nurture leads and ensure a high conversion rate.
  • Target Achievement: Meet weekly and monthly call targets and revenue targets as set by the reporting officer.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the reporting officer on call outcomes and lead quality.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Tele calling, customer service, or academic counseling.
  • Skills Required: Excellent command over English and Malayalam./Proficiency in using MS Office.
ASAP Kerala reserves the right to shortlist only a limited number of candidates for the written test/ /interview, as the case may be for the post, based on marks secured in their qualifying examination (if any), desirable qualifications and experience (if any).
Candidates should clearly mention the marks scored in their qualifying examination (graduation / post-graduation) in the application. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification. In the event of any information provided by the candidate being found false or incorrect at any stage, their candidature/appointment is liable to be cancelled/ terminated without any notice.
