NorthLadder - Senior Backend Developer - Node.js/TypeScript

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop scalable and high-performance applications using the Nodejs and Typescript.
• Own the technical strategy for broad or complex requirements with insightful and forward-looking approaches that go beyond the direct team and solve large open-ended problems
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, ensuring best coding practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications as needed.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality.
• Assign tasks, review code, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, team evaluations, and skill development sessions.
• Facilitate collaboration between team members and encourage a positive work environment.
• Help recruit, onboard, and train new team members as the team expands.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines.
• Ensure adherence to agile methodologies, conducting sprint planning and daily standups.
• Maintain proper documentation of technical architecture, development processes, and system updates.
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Understanding of microservices architecture and container orchestration using Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
