Non Motor Underwriting

As an Underwriter for Property, Engineering, Marine, and Miscellaneous Lines of Business (LOB) at our company, your role will involve creating and managing a sustainable portfolio aligned with our underwriting policy for both retail and SME channels. With a minimum of 5 years of experience, you will be independently underwriting commercial lines products such as Property & Engineering, Marine, and Miscellaneous LOB for these channels. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare quotations in full compliance with the company's approved guidelines and policies. - Review all incoming quote requests and provide quotes within specified timelines. - Ensure profitable bottom-line results through effective underwriting practices. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting commercial lines products. - Strong understanding of underwriting policies and guidelines. - Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also: - Assist Senior Management in preparing data and various Management Information Systems (MIS). - Participate in system and product development. - Conduct claims reviews and branch audits. - Adhere to underwriting authority guidelines in terms of discounts, sum insured, and products. - Analyze profitability, maintain MIS reports, and prepare dashboards. - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers such as the Sales Team, Operations Team, and Claims Team, as well as external customers and channel partners. Your success in this role will be determined by your ability to effectively underwrite commercial lines products, maintain profitable portfolios, and establish strong relationships with various stakeholders.,
