You will be responsible for independently conducting branch audits, which will require regular traveling. Your role will also involve participating in audits of various businesses, with a focus on Product and Operations audits. You will assist in planning, designing, and implementing risk-based audit plans to ensure the safety and soundness of the Bank. One of your key responsibilities will be to ensure the completion of assigned audits and the timely documentation of work papers. You will be expected to track the status of issues reported and assist in benchmarking relevant processes to Best Practices and peer banks. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in keeping the Audit Procedure Manual and checklists current and updated. You will create audit checklists for internal/concurrent Auditors, test products, processes, and procedures to identify pitfalls and bottlenecks, and ensure that they are audited and resolved. Your input in providing improvement suggestions to existing processes/systems to the line management will be highly valued. You will oversee the Concurrent Audit process, ensuring the submission of reports on time, updating checklists regularly, and reviewing audit issues appropriately. Your attention to detail in following up and rectifying concurrent audit issues will be essential to ensure the effective functioning of the audit processes.
