Node.js Developer

Job Overview:

• We are looking for a talented and experienced Node.js Developer to join our growing team
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for building the back-end components of web and mobile applications, developing complex Node.js applications in the cloud, and designing scalable and efficient APIs
• You will work closely with designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to implement new features and ensure that our applications meet industry standards for quality, security, and performance

Objectives of this Role:

• Develop and maintain back-end applications that power web and mobile solutions
• Implement complex Node.js applications within cloud infrastructure
• Design and maintain scalable, efficient APIs and integrate third-party APIs into Node.js applications
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in Node.js development

Key Responsibilities:

• Write efficient, transparent, and well-documented code that adheres to industry regulations and standards
• Collaborate with designers, stakeholders, and product owners to define, design, and implement new features in existing software solutions
• Participate in the performance optimization and tuning of existing Node.js applications, providing constructive feedback and reviewing software code for improvements
• Ensure compliance with privacy and security standards
• Continuously monitor and update the application to ensure it aligns with the latest industry trends and technologies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience: 3+ years of proven experience

• Technical Expertise:

• Proven experience in web application development with a strong focus on Node.js
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of database technologies, including experience with MySQL or MongoDB
• Familiarity with web development frameworks, particularly Express.js
• Understanding of microservices architecture and DevOps principles
• Experience working within agile development methodologies
• Problem-Solving Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and management skills, capable of handling complex development tasks

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Certification in Node.js from a recognized organization
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React.js or AngularJS
• Working knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) practices.
