Nodejs Developer

As a Node.js Developer with expertise in Kubernetes or API, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications using the Express.js framework, OpenAPI, API Gateway, and Swagger specifications. Working in a hybrid mode, you will collaborate with a team of developers to design, implement, and test new features, optimize existing applications for improved performance and reliability, and write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Integration with front-end developers for seamless server-side and client-side applications is a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will mentor and coach junior developers, staying updated with the latest Node.js, Express.js, OpenAPI, API Gateway, Swagger, and Jest developments. You should have a total of 8+ years of experience with 4+ years specifically in Node.js, along with 2+ years of experience in the Express.js framework and OpenAPI, API Gateway, and Swagger. A strong understanding of the JavaScript programming language, experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, and expertise in RESTful API design and development are essential qualifications. Proficiency in unit testing and test-driven development (Jest), excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required. Bonus points will be awarded for experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure, container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and leading and mentoring development teams.,
