Software Engineer Testing

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in

JavaScript/TypeScript, hands-on experience in building end-to-end automation frameworks, and exposure to modern microservices-based architectures.

This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.

Education

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical industry experience).

Experience Requirements

• Minimum

  5 years

  of hands-on experience in

  JavaScript-based development and automation testing

  .

• At least

  1 year of hands-on experience with TypeScript

  .

• Strong experience in

  automation testing tools and frameworks

  such as

  Playwright

  (mandatory), Selenium, Cucumber, and/or Appium.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in developing and testing

  scalable, highly available RESTful APIs and microservices

  using Node.js and JavaScript technologies.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing

  end-to-end automation test suites

  , preferably using

  BDD approaches

  .

• Hands-on experience with

  Playwright

  for UI and API automation testing.

• Practical exposure to

  GraphQL

  .

• Good understanding of

  CI/CD pipelines

  , including automated test integration and build deployments.

• Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues in

  distributed systems

  .

• Working knowledge of

  containerization technologies

  such as

  Docker and Kubernetes

  .

• Exposure to

  API Gateway integrations

  (e.g., 3Scale or similar tools).

• Understanding of

  authentication and authorization mechanisms

  , including

  JWT, OAuth, token-based authentication

  , and SSO concepts.

• Experience with

  message queues and event-driven systems

  such as Kafka and cloud-based messaging services (AWS/Azure).

Functional Skill

• Strong adherence to

  coding standards, testing best practices, security guidelines, and documentation standards
