Node Js Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Node.js Developer to join our engineering team. You will design and build high-performance APIs, services, and real-time communication modules that power Rootles AI voice platform. The role requires strong backend expertise, experience in product-driven environments, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js (TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Build and optimize RESTful and WebSocket APIs for real-time communications.
• Collaborate with Product, AI, and Frontend teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and security.
• Work with databases (SL/NoSL) and caching solutions to optimize performance.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud-native delivery.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, actively collaborating on backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required Skills G Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of professional experience in backend development with Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ES6+ standards.
• Experience building APIs (REST, GraphL, WebSockets).
• Solid understanding of databases: PostgreSL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills.
• Experience working in product-based or SaaS environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AI/ML-driven platforms, voice technologies, or real-time communication systems.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitM, or similar).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as- code.
• Exposure to frontend technologies (React, Next.js) for end-to-end understanding.
• Startup experience with product delivery mindset.
