Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Node.js Developer to join our engineering team. You will design and build high-performance APIs, services, and real-time communication modules that power Rootles AI voice platform. The role requires strong backend expertise, experience in product-driven environments, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js (TypeScript/JavaScript). Build and optimize RESTful and WebSocket APIs for real-time communications. Collaborate with Product, AI, and Frontend teams to deliver new features and enhancements. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. Ensure system performance, reliability, and security. Work with databases (SL/NoSL) and caching solutions to optimize performance. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud-native delivery. Participate in Agile ceremonies, actively collaborating on backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Required Skills G Qualifications: 2-4 years of professional experience in backend development with Node.js. Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ES6+ standards. Experience building APIs (REST, GraphL, WebSockets). Solid understanding of databases: PostgreSL, MongoDB, or similar. Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills. Experience working in product-based or SaaS environments. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in AI/ML-driven platforms, voice technologies, or real-time communication systems. Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitM, or similar). Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as- code. Exposure to frontend technologies (React, Next.js) for end-to-end understanding. Startup experience with product delivery mindset. Location: Ahmedabad
