Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js and related technologies. This role typically involves:
Key Responsibilities:Server-Side Development:Leading the development of back-end components, including APIs, databases, and server logic, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.Database Management:Defining, maintaining, and optimizing the central database, including data storage, protection, and retrieval.Integration:Connecting the application to other web services, third-party APIs, and front-end components, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.Code Quality:Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.Troubleshooting and Maintenance:Diagnosing and resolving issues related to Node.js applications, and maintaining existing systems.Collaboration:Working closely with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Node.js, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js).Database Experience: Familiarity with various databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).API Development: Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.Version Control: Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.Optional but Valued Skills:Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TDD).
