Node JS Developer Active Job Title: Node.js Developer Location: Chandigarh Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 3–4 Years Start Date: Immediate Joiners Preferred Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Node.js Developer to join our backend development team. The candidate should have 3–4 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing server-side applications using Node.js, along with a strong understanding of modern backend frameworks, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies. This role requires the ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure server-side applications using Node.js and frameworks like Express.js or NestJS Develop and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver complete, end-to-end features Optimize application performance, implement caching strategies using Redis or similar tools Manage and model data using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2) Write unit and integration tests using testing libraries such as Jest, Mocha, or Supertest Work with version control systems like Git and participate in code reviews Utilize Docker and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments Monitor and troubleshoot applications in production environments using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar Stay updated with the latest backend development trends, tools, and best practices Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 3–4 years of experience in backend development using Node.js Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture Proficiency with database systems and ORMs such as Mongoose or TypeORM Experience working in Agile development environments Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP Experience in developing and deploying microservices Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team Good understanding of code versioning tools such as Git Excellent communication and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of message queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka Familiarity with server-side templating engines (EJS, Handlebars) Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows Experience contributing to open-source projects.
