Noc Network Engineer

We are hiring for the position of NOC Operations at Pune.

Qualification : B.E./B.Tech or Any Gratuate

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network elements, services, and applications using NSP/NMS
• Proactively identify, analyze, and respond to network alarms, alerts, and incidents
• Perform first-level troubleshooting for network issues (IP/MPLS(Internet Protocol / Multiprotocol Label Switching), BGP(Border Gateway Protocol), OSPF(Open Shortest Path First)/ISIS(Intermediate System to Intermediate System), SR, EVPN(Ethernet Virtual Private Network), etc.)
• Log, track, and manage incidents as defined SLA (Service Layer Agreement) / OLA (Network layer Agreement) processes
• Escalate issues to CTA (Common Acronyms), TAC (Technical Assistance Center), vendors, or field teams as per escalation matrix
• Coordinate with vendors and TAC for fault isolation and resolution
• Perform basic checks, validation, and health monitoring
• Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) and follow change management processes
• Communicate incident updates to stakeholders through calls, emails, and messaging channels
• Participate in RCA(Root Cause Analysis), RFO (Reason For Outage), and post-incident analysis activities
• Support planned maintenance activities during off-hours as required

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing & switching
• Working knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, Segment Routing, EVPN
• Familiarity with NMS/NSP

  (Network Service Provider)

  Crammer, etc.
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow)
• Understanding of optical/DWDM basics is an added advantage
• Exposure to Nokia platforms is a plus.
