NOC Analyst

Job Description: As a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer at Zelis, you play a crucial role in monitoring and maintaining the network infrastructure to ensure optimum performance and availability. Your responsibilities involve responding to alerts and incidents promptly, resolving network issues, implementing security measures, and collaborating with various IT teams to troubleshoot complex problems. Additionally, you work on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network reliability and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor network performance and ensure the availability of all network components. - Respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner to minimize downtime. - Identify and resolve network issues proactively and reactively. - Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems. - Document and track incidents, ensuring resolution within established service level agreements (SLAs). - Communicate effectively with end-users and stakeholders during incident resolution. - Monitor network security systems to detect and respond to security incidents. - Implement security measures to safeguard the network infrastructure. - Manage and maintain network configurations. - Implement changes and updates to network devices as needed. - Identify opportunities for improving network performance and efficiency. - Work on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall network reliability. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. - Collaborate with other IT teams, vendors, and service providers to address network-related issues and implement changes. - Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for network-related incidents. Qualifications: - 3-5 years of relevant experience in NOC. - Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+. - Proven experience in network administration and troubleshooting. - Knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.,
