NFTP Business Data Migration Lead

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the Data Migration and Cutover process as a critical program deliverable. It is essential to ensure that this activity is standardized, structured, and aligned with central governance principles. The data validations and orchestration must adhere to best practices, including leveraging technology interventions. The migration of Data (Master, Transactional, Reference) should meet the standards defined by NFTP tenets to ensure its fitness for purpose. Defining and aligning data quality standards with data owners is crucial. The execution of Cutover activities, both technical and business-related, should be carried out with proper controls to minimize or eliminate any impact on BAU processes. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the data migration process in collaboration with the technical data migration lead. - Manage multiple releases related to data migration. - Coordinate data migration across all functional work streams. - Identify data to be transitioned from legacy systems to S/4 HANA, MDG, etc. - Develop core data migration deliverables and provide support during data migration test cycles. - Segregate Master, reference, and transactional data. - Support the program plan for each iteration of data migration. - Assess data quality in collaboration with data owners and stewards. - Manage risks associated with Data Migration. Required Skills: - Excellent project management skills, preferably with experience in agile methodologies. - Previous involvement in S4 HANA implementation projects, including an understanding of data impacts on various processes. - Proficient knowledge of data migration and cutover processes, including best practices and technology interventions. - Good understanding of finance & accounting processes (OTC, PTP, ATR, TAX, Cash & Bank, Control and Management reporting). - Ability to work independently, foster collaboration with stakeholders/teams, and drive results. - Strong stakeholder management skills, including creating visibility for senior leadership. Required Business/Technical Knowledge: - Familiarity with the ecosystem surrounding data (master, transactional, and reference). - Understanding of the usage of data elements/objects in various processes within NFTP.
