Job Description – News Anchor

We are seeking a confident, engaging, and articulate **Anchor** to host news programs, talk shows, events, or live broadcasts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, on-camera presence, and the ability to think quickly in live settings while keeping the audience engaged and informed.

Key Responsibilities:

* Present news, events, or shows in an engaging and professional manner.

* Conduct live interviews, panel discussions, and debates with clarity and neutrality.

* Research and prepare scripts, questions, and content in coordination with the editorial/production team.

* Stay updated with current events, trends, and audience interests.

* Ensure accuracy and credibility of the information being presented.

* Handle breaking news and live situations with composure.

* Collaborate with producers, reporters, and technical teams for smooth execution.

* Represent the channel/organization in media events, promotions, or public appearances.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related field (preferred).

* Proven experience as an anchor, presenter, or host.

* Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills (multilingual ability is a plus).

* Strong interviewing, storytelling, and improvisation abilities.

* Confident on-camera presence with good body language and voice modulation.
