New Product Development Engineer

Job Summary:

supermarket racks, retail display fixtures, and storage systems

Role & responsibilities

• Develop new product concepts for

  supermarket racks, display fixtures, and shelving systems

  .
• Create

  3D/2D CAD models and detailed drawings

  using Autocad & Solidworks
• Conduct

  prototype development, load testing, and design validation

  .
• Ensure

  structural strength, material optimization, and cost efficiency

  .
• Prepare and manage

  BOMs, specifications, and technical documentation

  .
• Collaborate with

  production, procurement, quality, and marketing

  teams for product launch.
• Implement

  design improvements

  for existing products based on feedback and performance.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Industrial Design Engineering

  .

• 2 to 5 years

  of experience in

  rack, fixture, furniture, or sheet metal design

  .
• Proficiency in

  SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  sheet metal fabrication, welding, powder coating, and assembly processes

  .
• Good understanding of

  DFMA principles

  and

  retail display standards

  .
• Excellent

  creativity, problem-solving, and communication

  skills.
