Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Understand design requirements and translate them into feasible models considering manufacturing constraints.
Work toward meeting delivery timelines as per project requirements.
Participate in detailed design activities, including tolerance stack-up analysis and timely release of design documents.
Ensure a First-Time-Right approach in all design activities.
Involve in VAVE (Value Analysis & Value Engineering) activities for brake systems during the development process.
Participate in benchmarking activities along with relevant stakeholders.

Technical Skills

Functional knowledge of 2W Brake Systems and their validation.
Hands-on experience in 3D modeling and drafting using Cero.
Knowledge of brake system components such as Master Cylinder, Caliper, Disc, Hoses, etc.
Ability to analyze failures and propose effective countermeasures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of DFMEA and GD&T.
Understanding of castings and sheet-metal manufacturing processes.

Soft Skills

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Positive mindset and attitude.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Cero, PLM, and SAP systems.
