New Model Ergonomics

As a Team Lead in the Vehicle Occupant Packaging and Comprehensive Ergonomics department, your role will involve assessing the performance of new and facelift models in terms of occupant visibility, ingress/egress, cabin roominess, and other ergonomic factors. You will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams to propose and implement optimal ergonomic solutions for vehicle packaging. Your tasks will include creating digital and physical mock-ups, conducting usability surveys, and analyzing competition vehicles for insights. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and refine ergonomics evaluation processes in collaboration with the research team - Stay updated on industry Layout & Packaging Strategy of other manufacturers - Conduct benchmarking analysis and create reports for packaging and ergonomics insights - Utilize CAD software such as UG NX and vehicle packaging software like RAMSIS - Ensure compliance with automotive engineering guidelines and standards (e.g., SAE and AIS) - Understand the diverse needs and preferences of vehicle customers with varying anthropometry Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering - 8-10 years of experience in vehicle occupant packaging, ergonomics, and engineering design - Proficiency in CAD software (UG NX), vehicle packaging software (RAMSIS), and MS Excel - Knowledge or experience in Virtual/Augmented Reality prototyping is an added advantage - Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills This position requires you to be fast, flexible, and creative, with a strong focus on teamwork.
