Description
As a Manager in EY GDS - Assurance FAAS, you will play a crucial role in working closely with FAAS leadership and client engagement teams across Americas and EMEIA. Your responsibilities will include: - Lead global or domestic client service teams in executing various FAAS solutions such as accounting support for transactions, preparation of financial statements, GAAP conversion, technical accounting research, and more - Manage a team of Assistant Managers and Seniors, ensuring high-quality work delivery as per EY Global methodology - Conduct performance reviews, provide mentorship, and identify development opportunities for team members - Actively support FAAS leadership in growth and quality initiatives, enhance client relationships, and contribute to business development activities - Apply independent professional judgment in applying accounting standards and stay informed of professional standards and firm policies - Contribute to practice development activities including thought leadership, industry events, training, and team communications - Demonstrate expertise in IFRS or US GAAP, transaction accounting, GAAP conversions, accounting policies, and financial statement processes - Possess strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills - Qualifications required: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US) or ACCA (UK), 6-10 years of post-qualification experience in assurance or finance roles, including Financial Accounting and Advisory experience EY is dedicated to building a better working world by creating new value for clients, people, society, and the planet.
