Role Description

full-time, on-site role

The Neurosurgeon will be responsible for:

• Performing

  both elective and emergency neurosurgical procedures

• Managing complex cases involving cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerve surgery

• Diagnosing and treating patients with neurological and spine disorders

• Providing expert care in trauma neurosurgery and spine surgery

• Participating in multidisciplinary team discussions

  with Neurology, Orthopaedics, Critical Care, and Oncology teams
• Contributing to

  clinical teaching, research, and hospital academic programs

Qualifications

• MBBS

  from a recognized medical college (mandatory)

• MS (General Surgery)

  followed by

  MCh (Neurosurgery)

  or equivalent DNB (Neurosurgery) qualification from an NMC-recognized institute (mandatory)
• Strong expertise in

  neurosurgery and spine surgery

• Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders

• Excellent surgical skills

  with the ability to perform complex neurosurgical procedures independently
• Strong communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in

  high-pressure tertiary care hospital settings

• Additional fellowship training in spine or skull-base surgery

  (preferred, not mandatory)
