Job Description

As a Networking Remote Technical Support Engineer (L3) at NTT DATA, your role is crucial in providing professional remote technical support to clients by identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems. Your responsibilities include: - Maintaining the support process and handling support requests according to procedures. - Identifying and resolving problems following agreed procedures. - Carrying out maintenance tasks and monitoring service delivery against service level agreements. - Analyzing service records to identify actions required to maintain or improve service levels. - Investigating causes of incidents, seeking resolution, and escalating unresolved incidents. - Providing service recovery, documenting and closing resolved incidents according to procedures. - Ensuring secure, accurate, and current configuration on configuration items (CIs). - Investigating and identifying root causes of incidents, implementing remedies and preventative measures. - Creating knowledge articles in incident diagnosis/resolution and upgrading skills on latest products and technologies. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Working knowledge of technical documentation. - Knowledge of management agent concepts, redundancy concepts, and remote console architecture. - Familiarity with vendor technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, RiverBed, etc. - Customer service orientation, proactive thinking, and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail, analytical and logical thinking, and excellent communication skills. - Ability to work well with others, including clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. Qualifications and certifications required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing. - Professional level certification in Networking technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNP, JNCIS, ACMP). - Cisco Dev Net certification. Experience needed: - Seasoned experience in Networking technologies like routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, etc. - Technical support experience to clients, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and providing remote support. - Experience in relevant technology.
