Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Network Infrastructure & Performance

Design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks ensuring high availability and scalability.
Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Monitor network performance using tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG) and resolve connectivity or latency issues.
Collaborate with vendors and ISPs to ensure reliable and optimized network operations.

Network Security & Compliance

Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and secure remote access.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, audits, and risk mitigation activities.
Define and enforce policies for access control, data protection, and information security compliance (ISO 27001, NIST).
Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and documentation of security events.

Governance & Team Leadership

Ensure adherence to IT governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
Prepare network and security performance reports for management.
Lead, mentor, and upskill the network and security operations team.
Promote cybersecurity awareness and ensure disaster recovery and business continuity readiness.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification:

Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
7-10 years’ experience in network administration and cybersecurity.

Technical Skills:

LAN/WAN, VPN, Firewalls, IDS/IPS
Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Cloud & Hybrid Network Security (AWS/Azure)
Risk Management, DR & BCP
