Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

Network Engineer

with

5-7 years of experience

network administration and engineering

. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with

multicast, ACI, Nexus switching, ASR, ISE, VMware NSX

, and other networking technologies. This role requires strong expertise in

network troubleshooting, configuration, and management

while ensuring high availability and performance of network devices.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot
network devices
, including
LAN/WAN, switches, and routers
.
Implement and maintain
high-availability (HA) configurations
for network devices.
Monitor and manage
network performance
, ensuring optimal uptime and security.
Administer and support
Cisco ACI solutions
and equivalent networking technologies.
Provide
escalation management
, collaborating with internal teams and OEM vendors to resolve network issues efficiently.
Understand and support
disaster recovery (DR) solutions
related to network infrastructure.
Ensure adherence to
industry best practices
in
network security, configuration, and performance tuning
.
Document configurations, troubleshooting steps, and technical solutions for knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree (BE/B.Tech/MCA)
in
IT, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electronics
or higher.
Alternatively, a
Diploma in Computer Science
with
CCNA/CCNP Certification
.
5-7 years of experience
as a
Network Administrator/Engineer
.
Hands-on experience with:
- Multicast, ACI (or equivalent technologies from leading OEMs), Nexus switching, ASR, ISE, VMware NSX
  .
- Network troubleshooting
  and handling of various networking devices.
- LAN/WAN networking, switches, routers
  , and related infrastructure.
Strong understanding of
network security, high-availability (HA) configurations
, and best practices.
Experience with
network monitoring tools
and
performance management
.
Excellent
problem-solving and escalation management
skills.
Good communication skills
, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external vendors.
