Network & Security Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Network Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain Cisco Switches and Routers to ensure optimal network performance and reliability. Firewall Management: Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues on various firewall platforms, including Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, and others. Network Security: Proactively manage and enhance network security measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities. Troubleshooting & Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex network and security-related issues efficiently to minimize downtime. Load Balancing (Desirable): Experience with load balancers is a plus, contributing to the high availability and scalability of our services. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, security policies, and troubleshooting procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network and security solutions. Required Qualifications: Technical Certifications: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) - Mandatory CCDA (Cisco Certified Design Associate) - Mandatory Experience: Proven experience in installing and configuring Cisco Switches and Routers. Demonstrated hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving problems on enterprise-grade firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, etc.). Experience in managing overall network security. Experience with Load Balancers is highly desirable. Skills Required: Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, etc.). Proficiency in network security principles and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
