Network & Security Engineer

As a network security professional, your role will involve deploying, configuring, and managing Sophos XG / XGS Firewalls. You will be responsible for creating and managing Firewall Rules, NAT, Web & Application Filters, IPS, VPNs, and implementing High Availability (HA), SD-WAN Policies, and Load Balancing. Monitoring logs, reports, bandwidth usage, and threat alerts will be crucial, along with troubleshooting internet access, VPN connectivity, and user authentication. Configuring SSL VPN, IPsec VPN, Remote Access, Captive Portal, and User-based policies will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to coordinate with clients/vendors for firmware upgrades and security audits, and prepare backup & restore policies to ensure network security compliance.
