Network( Routing and switching) Professional

• Experience with Palo Alto Firewall, Bluecoat Proxy, Zscaler Proxy, F5 Load Balancer, and Juniper Pulse VPN.
• Good knowledge in troubleshooting network-related issues.
• Good knowledge of Firewall/VPN technologies.
• Basic understanding of ITIL processes.
• Basic troubleshooting knowledge of firewall and VPN technologies.
• Flexible to work in 24/7 shifts, including extra hours and weekends during major refresh periods.
• Experience performing IOS upgrades on various models of IP internetworking layer 2/3 switches, load balancers, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Sound knowledge in network and security products is an advantage.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• CCNP, PCNSA, or PCNSE certification is an added advantage.
• Experience with network-related audit activities.
• Experience with network tools and support; data center and network room-related activities.
• Strong background in process creation and improvement planning; designing, testing, and implementing disaster recovery and capacity optimization.
• Provides root-cause analysis, contributes to the knowledge base, and provides recommendations for continuous improvements to workflow, process, and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of new sites, migration, and proof of concept (POC).
• Installation, upgrade, and configuration of network devices.
• Installation and management of structured cabling and patch cables.
• Image management provisioning via approved OS/application versions and configuration standards.
• Configuration version control management.
• Ensure devices comply with client security standards and policies (hardening, security, patches, policy enforcement).
• Capacity management.
• License compliance management.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Client VPN management.
• Network local and global traffic manager device management.
• Network application proxy device management.
• Content delivery network management.
• Device migration.
• Documentation of processes, procedures, build-books, and as-built diagrams.
• Patch management OS, application, and device firmware.
• Backup and restore management.
• Change and release management.
• Inventory management.
• Hardware maintenance.
• Support contract maintenance (where not covered by provider).
• Business continuity management.
