Job Description

As a Networking Pre-sales Technical Consultant based in Delhi with a minimum of 5 years of experience, your role involves providing pre-sales technology consulting and offering cost-effective networking solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of customers. Key Responsibilities: - Identify customers' needs and requirements to determine solutions that align with client objectives and profitability. Conduct thorough planning and information gathering to define system objectives and lead technical discussions. - Design, present, and demonstrate network architecture within the assigned Network and Network Security domain(s). Provide technical consulting to customers throughout the process. - Confirm that products meet customer requirements during the qualification process and assist the sales team in technical qualification. Articulate and demonstrate solutions during the proposal process, influence technical requirements, and position products relative to competitors. - Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and other requests with commercial proposals of IT infrastructure services. - Engage in visioning proposed IT pre-sales activities including product presentations, deployment designs, demonstration management, and technical solutions. Offer intensive pre-sales technical consulting to prospective customers, participate in conference calls and customer visits, create technical designs and presentations, and act as a technical lead on major opportunities. - Develop an approach and create business cases for prospective clients. Prepare and conduct presentations of the offered solutions to customers. Play an active role in negotiations, providing technical support to the sales team. - Collaborate with IT vendors and external service providers to design the offered solutions. Attend industry events such as trade shows and conferences. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience working on networking and network security solutions. Required Skills/Abilities: - Excellent knowledge of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, routers, Campus switches, Fabric Switches, wireless access points & controller, Load balancer/Application Delivery Controllers, Global Load Balancers, WAN Optimization, Network Access Control Solutions, Network Analytics, Firewall. - Familiarity with vendor products and technologies from Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, Fortinet, Checkpoint, F5, Radware, Riverbed, CITRIX is a plus. - General understanding of the networking and security market and products. - Strong customer relationship management skills and problem-solving abilities. - Results-oriented mindset, with strong presentation and analytical skills. - Ability to conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) would be an added advantage.
