Network Operations Engineer

As a Network Operations Engineer at a large technology company, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network services in the datacenter and office infrastructure. Your role will involve working closely with users, following guidelines, and contributing to maintaining the network service SLA. **Key Responsibilities:** - Handle day-to-day operations and promptly respond to network-related tickets. - Implement and maintain core networking protocols like TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPC, HSRP, VRRP, STP, VLAN, etc. - Participate in on-call rotations and respond to network alerts and incidents promptly. - Maintain VPN and secure remote access solutions for datacenter accessibility while ensuring security. - Adhere to SOPs set by the Network Architect for day-to-day operations. - Conduct network troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. - Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network problems. - Follow the change management process for network configuration changes and troubleshooting. **Qualifications Required:** - 5-8 years of experience as a Network Operations Engineer focusing on core networking protocols. - Experience with routers and switches is a must. - Experience with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) or Arista is highly preferred. - Knowledge of modern data center solutions. - Proven experience in network troubleshooting and problem-solving. - Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to alerts. - Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPC, HSRP, VRRP, STP, VLAN, firewalls, etc. - Familiarity with network security principles and experience in setting up VPN and secure remote access solutions is preferred. - Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are preferred. - Bachelor's Degree If you are interested in this role, please submit your resume to our network at [Stage 4 Solutions Careers Page](https://www.stage4solutions.com/careers/).
