Network Engineer - Wireless

As an experienced professional with 10-12 years of expertise in Enterprise WiFi Technologies, Wireless Security, Network Troubleshooting & Optimization, Global & Multi-site Deployments, Automation & Monitoring, Network Infrastructure Fundamentals, Capacity Planning & High-Density Environments, and Compliance & Documentation, you will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-level wireless networks. Your responsibilities will include: - In-depth knowledge of major wireless vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Juniper/Mist, and Meraki - Hands-on expertise with WiFi standards including 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax - Strong understanding of wireless security protocols like WPA2-Enterprise, WPA3, and 802.1X - Proficiency in using Identity Services Engine (ISE) and familiarity with authentication methods such as RADIUS and EAP - Extensive wireless troubleshooting using tools like Ekahau, AirMagnet, or similar - Experience in conducting WiFi site surveys, heat mapping, and performance tuning - Deployment of wireless networks across multiple regions/offices and understanding of compliance and regulatory standards - Knowledge of WiFi monitoring tools, SNMP, syslog systems, and automation scripting for network management - Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, QoS, and routing protocols - Designing for high-density environments and capacity planning - Familiarity with security frameworks like ISO 27001 and excellent documentation skills Your role will also require strong communication and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to work in regulated financial environments. Desirable certifications include CWNA/CWNP, Cisco CCNP Enterprise, Aruba ACMP/ACMX, and other vendor-specific wireless certifications.
