Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer at VXI Global Solutions, your role will involve maintaining and administering computer networks, hardware, software, and related systems. You will be responsible for performing disaster recovery operations, protecting data, software, and hardware from potential attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components as required. Your duties will also include working closely with network users to identify and resolve issues effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Have an advanced understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware - Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including wireless, routers, switches, and firewalls - Possess deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols **Qualifications Required:** - At least 5 years of hands-on experience supporting large enterprise Cisco networks design and administration - Experience with Cisco routers (3xxx/4xxx/ASR/ISR), Nexus 7K, switches (45xx/38xx/93xx), ASA firewalls, Cisco ISE, and WLC - Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls, GlobalProtect, IDS/IPS - Proficiency in network monitoring tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark - Degree or certifications in related field (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) would be a plus - Strong understanding of network concepts and routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF), MPLS, VPLS, VoIP, QoS/CoS, S2S VPN, and security/compliance VXI Global Solutions is a prominent provider of business process and information technology outsourcing services. Troubleshooting hardware and software issues associated with LAN/WAN networks and servers will also be part of your responsibilities. Your role will require excellent written and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. You will be expected to effectively use monitoring applications and equipment, ranging from Cisco tools to power management and backup systems. Furthermore, you may need to act as an escalation point with occasional 24/7 on-call support for major outages and client assistance.,
