Job Description

About the Role:

Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and deploy
LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to meet business needs.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot
network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Install, configure, and support
routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
Implement and manage VPNs, VLANs, QoS, and network segmentation
to optimize performance and security.
Perform regular network maintenance
(patching, upgrades, backups, and documentation).
Diagnose and resolve network issues
(connectivity, latency, routing, switching, etc.) in a timely manner.
Collaborate with vendors, ISPs, and cross-functional teams
to resolve complex network incidents.
Conduct network capacity planning, performance analysis, and optimization.
Maintain detailed documentation
of network configurations, diagrams, and change management.
Ensure network security and compliance
by implementing and monitoring security controls.

Preferred Qualifications :

Industry certifications such as
CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, JNCIA, or equivalent.
Experience in
data centers, ISPs, or enterprise network environments.
Familiarity with
SD-WAN, VoIP, or network virtualization (VMware NSX, Cisco ACI).
Understanding of
zero-trust networking and security frameworks.
