Job Summary

Looking for a Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Cisco data center networking. The role involves testing, validation, firewall management, troubleshooting, and documentation in enterprise data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Validation

Perform comprehensive testing and validation of Application Delivery Center (ADC) devices in data center environments

Work on Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ACI, and Firewall devices

Validate network configurations to ensure performance, reliability, and security

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployment and configuration

Firewall Management

Configure and manage A10 and/or F5 BIG-IP firewall solutions

Implement and monitor firewall rules in coordination with the security team

Troubleshooting

Diagnose and resolve issues related to Nexus, ACI, Catalyst, A10, and F5 technologies

Implement and monitor security controls to protect network infrastructure

Documentation

Prepare and publish test plans, test cases, execution status, and detailed reports

Maintain up-to-date documentation for network and firewall configurations

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

Hands-on experience in testing Cisco Nexus / ACI / Catalyst and firewall solutions

Hands-on experience with any one of the following:

A10 Networks, F5 BIG-IP, FortiGate

Experience in configuring and troubleshooting

LSN / CG-NAT, Load Balancing, Inline Proxy

High Availability

Firewalls

IPsec Tunnels

Strong knowledge of L2/L3 networking, HSRP, and VRRP

Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Excellent documentation and communication abilities

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred (Good to Have)

Cisco certifications: CCNA, CCNP, ACI

Firewall-related certificationsRole & responsibilities
