Network Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Integration and migration of OLT (Optical Line Terminal), ONT (Optical Network Terminal), and other fiber access network elements.
• Configure and test fiber network management systems (NMS, EMS, OSS/BSS).
• Implements, and maintains fixed access network, focusing on technologies like DSLAM, MSAN, OLT, and FTTX, ensuring reliable and high-quality broadband and Ethernet access for customers.
• Diagnose and resolve fiber network issues, signal degradation, and connectivity problems.
• Implement VLANs, QoS, and security policies on fiber network equipment.
• Provide an Operationally Excellent service to both internal and external customers

• Perform regular preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of transmission systems.
• Ensure minimal downtime by proactively addressing network issues.
• Identify and resolve transmission failures and disruptions.
• Coordinate with field engineers and vendors for timely issue resolution.
