Network Engineer L3

As a Network Engineer L3 at Bank of Maharashtra, your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain the bank's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security. You will need to have a deep understanding of network protocols, security principles, and advanced troubleshooting techniques. Your expertise in modern routing, switching, and SDN technologies like Cisco ACI will be essential in fulfilling the following key responsibilities: - Design and implement complex network solutions that align with business requirements, emphasizing scalability and high availability. - Manage and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers to ensure optimal performance. - Configure and troubleshoot advanced routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching protocols (e.g., VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP) with expertise. - Proactively monitor network performance and troubleshoot intricate issues to minimize downtime. - Implement robust network security measures, including access controls and intrusion prevention systems. - Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI environments, including policy configuration, tenant management, and integration with virtualized platforms. - Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless network integration and support application requirements. - Document detailed network configurations, procedures, and architectural diagrams. - Participate in the on-call rotation for critical network support and incident response. To excel in this role, you are expected to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with proven experience as a Network Engineer L3, preferably in a large enterprise or financial institution. Your in-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols, expertise in Cisco ACI, understanding of network security best practices, and problem-solving skills will be crucial. Possessing relevant certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, or Cisco ACI Specialist will be highly desirable.
