Job Description

As a Network Engineer at our fast-growing Managed Service Provider in Bangalore, you will be an integral part of our Support Team catering to leading Global Enterprises/Telecom Service Providers. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing Level-1 support and troubleshooting to resolve network related issues - Monitoring performance to ensure system availability and reliability - Collaborating with TAC, vendors, and other IT personnel for effective problem resolution - Demonstrating very good Understanding of TCP/IP and troubleshooting of Network Connectivity - Utilizing your experience with Cisco routers, switches, and security devices - Applying your knowledge in Routing & Switching & Security, including troubleshooting enterprise networks with technologies such as Static routes, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, STP, UDLD, ARP, VTP, EtherChannels, IP Addressing & Subnetting, WAN MPLS, SDN circuits, Firewall, Access list, Stateful Inspection, NAT, VPN, Tunneling Qualifications required for this role: - BE / BSc / Diploma engineers with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience - Cisco certified (CCNA) - Experience in a network operations center is preferred - Knowledge of ITIL practices and processes - Strong research, investigation, and evaluation skills - Effective skills in analyzing technology behavior and issue resolution - Experience using Troubleticketing tools such as ServiceNow/Remedy for handling trouble tickets In addition to the technical requirements, we seek candidates with strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
