Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Network Engineer to support our IT infrastructure and help maintain a secure, reliable network. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with 6 months–2 years of experience in networking.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Provide first-level support for network-related issues across LAN/WAN/VPN.
• Monitor network performance and escalate issues when necessary.
• Document network configurations, updates, and changes.
• Work with senior engineers on network upgrades and security improvements.
• Ensure timely resolution of connectivity issues for users and departments.
• Support software and hardware installations related to networking.
• Participate in on-call support rotations or scheduled maintenance windows (as required).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSI model.
• Familiarity with network devices (Cisco/Juniper/HP preferred).
• Understanding of LAN/WAN/VPN setups.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
