Job Summary:

Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Cisco ACI fabrics including APIC controllers, tenants, bridge domains, VRFs, contracts, and policies.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus switches (2K, 5K, 7K, 9K) in NX-OS mode, including vPC, VXLAN, and EVPN implementations.
• Integrate service appliances such as firewalls and load balancers into ACI environments.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to routing, switching, and ACI fabric.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data center migrations and automation initiatives.
• Automate network operations using tools like Cisco NSO, Postman, and Python scripting.
• Maintain detailed network documentation and ensure compliance with security standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on Cisco ACI and Nexus.
• Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols (VLANs, STP, LACP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
• Experience with ACI fabric setup, endpoint learning, L3Out configurations, and APIC GUI.
• Proficiency in NX-OS, vPC, VXLAN, EVPN technologies.
• Familiarity with network automation and scripting (Python, XML, JSON).
• Knowledge of network security principles and integration of firewalls.

Preferred Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Data Center
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) – Data Center (preferred)

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
