Position Overview We are looking for a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. This role will be responsible for ensuring high levels of network availability, security, and performance. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Network Design and Implementation Design, deploy, and manage scalable LAN, WAN, and wireless network solutions aligned with business needs. Participate in network planning and architecture decisions. Configuration and Maintenance Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Ensure reliable and secure network infrastructure. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex network-related issues promptly. Provide Level 2/3 support and root cause analysis for network failures. Network Security Implement robust security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS. Maintain compliance with organizational and industry security standards. Performance Monitoring Monitor network performance and usage patterns. Optimize network efficiency and minimize downtime. Documentation Maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, topology, and procedures. Keep logs for audits and compliance requirements. Collaboration Work closely with system administrators, developers, and IT support teams. Understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Staying Current Continuously research and evaluate emerging network technologies. Proactively recommend and implement upgrades and enhancements. Essential Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Proficiency with enterprise networking hardware and software. Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.). Deep knowledge of network security best practices and threat mitigation. Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark). Relevant certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, etc.). Excellent analytical and communication skills.
