Network Engineer

Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Network Engineer

Certifications: CCNA, CCNP (preferred/added advantage).

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Monitor network performance, usage, and availability to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues, diagnose hardware/software faults, and implement solutions.
• Perform routine network maintenance and updates to ensure system stability.
• Manage VPNs, VLANs, routing protocols, and firewall security policies.
• Collaborate with system administrators, security teams, and vendors for network optimisation.
• Perform regular network upgrades, patches, and documentation.
• Implement and monitor security best practices to protect company assets.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Provide support for end-users regarding network and connectivity issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related subject
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewall concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWALL, Aruba or similar network devices.
• Experience with VPNs and enterprise Wi-Fi solutions.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Certifications: CCNA, CCNP (preferred/added advantage).
