Job Description

As an IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of computer hardware and software systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software. - Providing basic technical support to end-users, effectively troubleshooting hardware and software issues. - Assisting in setting up and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, and Sophos firewalls. - Monitoring network performance to identify and address potential issues promptly. - Supporting server maintenance and administration tasks. - Maintaining accurate documentation of network and server configurations. - Assisting in implementing security measures to safeguard the network and data. - Keeping yourself updated with the latest networking and server technologies. - Providing clear and concise written reports and updates to the team. Your skill set should include: - Strong understanding of computer hardware and software. - Basic knowledge of networking concepts. - Familiarity with computer and laptop installation and management. - Understanding of Sophos firewall concepts. - Excellent written communication skills. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. - Proactive learning attitude with a willingness to adapt to new technologies. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. - Basic understanding of server operating systems like Windows Server and Linux. - Experience with IAM (Identity and Access Management). This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule. The work location is in person.,
