Network Administrator

As a Network Administrator, you will monitor and manage LAN & WAN network infrastructure, troubleshoot and maintain data centre networks, and oversee IP addressing, DNS, and DHCP services in Infoblox. Youll also lead outage resolution, optimize network performance, handle escalated incidents, and maintain detailed network documentation while collaborating with vendors for seamless operations.

2. Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day operations and management for customer (LAN & WAN) Network infrastructure.

• Configuring, Troubleshooting & Maintaining DC LAN and DC Interconnect WAN Networks.

• Manage and Maintain IP addressing schemes in Infoblox (IPAM)

• Manage and Maintain DNS & DHCP services in Infoblox

• Managing and monitoring Wireless Network infrastructure

• Network protocol configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting

• Provide input for Capacity Planning/ Migration/ Optimization / Future upgrade strategy based on the performance trend

• OnDemand IOS & NSOS Updating and hotfixes

• Responsible for implementing best practice/hardening

• Managing and monitoring log files of network devices

• Preparation of Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports

• Regular audit of network devices and take corrective action accordingly

• Performance Management & Optimization

• Should be able to lead P1 / P2 Outage Bridge call and resolve the issue to restore the services.

• Root Cause Analysis

• Coordination with multiple vendors

• Handling escalated incidents or high critical tickets.

• Plan and schedule for change management.

• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams and documents

3. Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in a Network engineering role

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with global stakeholders.

• Experience in handling global customers and adapting to diverse cultural contexts.

• High level of commitment to delivering quality work and achieving goals.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

• Proactive in identifying opportunities and addressing challenges independently.
