Network Administrator

As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the computer networks within our organization. Your role will involve overseeing the local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and internet connections to ensure they are secure, reliable, and operating optimally for all users. Your key responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and maintaining network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Monitoring network performance to ensure optimal uptime, performing regular maintenance and updates for security and reliability, and managing network security policies will also be part of your duties. Collaboration with the IT team to implement network solutions for business needs and providing end-user support on network connectivity issues will be essential. Additionally, you will manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols within the organization, maintain network documentation, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices related to data security and network management. The ideal candidate for this role should have experience with networking hardware, a strong grasp of network protocols, knowledge of network security practices, familiarity with network management tools, excellent troubleshooting skills, and effective communication abilities for interactions with technical and non-technical teams. You should also be comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
