About The Opportunity

A fast-growing player in the Enterprise Cloud & Data Engineering sector, we modernise legacy platforms and build Azure-native analytics solutions for retail, BFSI, and manufacturing clients worldwide. Leveraging advanced DevSecOps, Data Lake, and Spark frameworks, our teams enable clients to unlock real-time insights, reduce TCO, and accelerate digital transformation.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end architecture of Azure Data Lake and Delta pipelines, unifying ingestion, processing, and serving layers.
Design and implement high-performance PySpark workloads on Azure Databricks, optimising cost and cluster efficiency.
Build .NET Core microservices and APIs that orchestrate data movement, governance, and metadata management.
Define best-practice blueprints covering CI/CD, GitOps, monitoring, and security for production data platforms.
Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and infra teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and ensure adherence to cloud architecture standards.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

5+ years data engineering with at least 3 years architecting Azure analytics platforms.
Expertise in Azure Databricks, Data Lake Storage Gen2, Delta Lake, and Synapse.
Hands-on PySpark coding, optimisation, and job orchestration.
Proficient in .NET Core for back-end services and RESTful API design.
Strong grasp of CI/CD, IaC with Terraform or Bicep, and security best practices.

Preferred

Experience with Azure Purview, Data Factory Mapping Data Flows, and event-driven architectures.
Exposure to real-time analytics using Kafka or Event Hubs and Structured Streaming.
Certification Microsoft Azure Data Engineer or Solutions Architect.
