Role & responsibilities Job Title: .NET Developer Location: Gurugram Job Type: Full-Time Department: Software Development / IT Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented .NET Developer to join our development team. As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and deploying scalable and robust applications using the Microsoft technology stack. This role requires strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET (MVC/Core), SQL Server , and modern development practices. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain web and desktop applications using .NET technologies. Work with ASP.NET Core/MVC , C# , and Entity Framework to build robust back-end services. Create and maintain database structures, queries, and stored procedures using SQL Server . Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services. Ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA, and DevOps. Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of development tools, frameworks, and trends. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 26 years of experience in .NET development . Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core , and Entity Framework . Strong understanding of SQL Server and relational database concepts. Familiarity with JavaScript , HTML5, and CSS3 (basic front-end understanding). Experience with version control tools like Git . Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration. Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms. Knowledge of Blazor , SignalR , or WPF . Familiarity with DevOps pipelines , CI/CD , and containerization (Docker). Experience with testing frameworks like xUnit , NUnit , or MSTest . Understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles. Preferred candidate profile
