Job Description

.NET Backend Developer (Shift-Left Development)

Position Title: .NET Backend Developer

Location: Remote

Experience Required: 7+ years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using .NET Core/.NET 6+.

Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Integrate with SQL Server, NoSQL databases, and third-party services.

Apply Shift-Left testing principles: write unit, integration, and API tests during development.

Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipeline integration.

Work independently with minimal QA support, ensuring high code quality and test coverage.

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework.

Experience with automated testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, etc.).

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

Solid understanding of software design patterns and SOLID principles.

Experience with Git, JIRA, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred:

Exposure to frontend frameworks (Angular/React) is a plus.

Experience in performance tuning and security best practices.
