Job Description

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP). Handle taxation matters including direct and indirect tax filings, GST returns, TDS, and annual tax audits. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Conduct internal and external audits, and liaise with statutory auditors. Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws. Maintain general ledger and ensure proper accounting controls and procedures. Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior management. Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processes. Assist in financial due diligence and risk assessment for business projects. Develop and implement internal financial policies and controls. Qualifications & Skills: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from ICAI. [X]+ years of post-qualification experience in accounting, finance, or auditing. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle). Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of data analysis tools is a plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred: Experience in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, healthcare, IT services]. Familiarity with international financial reporting standards (IFRS). Exposure to ERP systems and automation tools.
