.NET Backend Developer

Job Description As a .NET Backend Developer at CodeChavo, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure backend systems using .NET Core / .NET 6+. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure backend systems using .NET Core / .NET 6+. - Implementing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party systems. - Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. - Working closely with UK-based product owners, business analysts, and frontend teams. - Participating in architecture discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning. - Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance. - Ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and data privacy standards. To qualify for this role, you should have: - 3-5 years of hands-on experience in backend development using C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+. - A solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles. - Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases (query optimization, stored procedures). - Strong experience in REST API development and integration. - Familiarity with Entity Framework Core or other ORM frameworks. - Working knowledge of Azure / AWS cloud services is a plus. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with UK-based teams. It would be nice to have experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or microservices architecture, exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments, and an understanding of unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, etc.).
