.NET Backend Developer

As a backend developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using C# and .NET/.NET Core. Your main tasks will include building and integrating RESTful APIs to support frontend and mobile applications, working with relational databases like SQL Server, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization. Collaboration with front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers is integral to our development process. You will also participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies, implementing secure coding practices and adhering to coding standards. Additionally, maintaining technical documentation and supporting production deployments will be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET/.NET Core - Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support frontend and mobile applications - Work with relational databases like SQL Server, writing efficient queries and stored procedures - Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization - Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers - Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies - Implement secure coding practices and adhere to coding standards - Maintain technical documentation and support production deployments Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of backend development experience using .NET Framework / .NET Core - Proficient in C#, .NET Core, and Web API development - Strong experience with SQL Server or similar RDBMS - Familiarity with Entity Framework / EF Core - Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns - Basic knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth) - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) In addition to the technical skills required, you should have experience with Azure or AWS, exposure to microservices architecture, knowledge of message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus), familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools, and experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc. The interview process consists of 2 rounds, and immediate joiners are preferred. This is a contractual/temporary position with a contract length of 6 months. The work location is in person.,
