Job Description

As a Naval Architect Vessel Performance Analyst, your role involves supporting the Vessel Performance & Analytics team in delivering advanced monitoring and optimization projects for vessel operations. You will provide analytical support to clients, contribute to system development for vessel performance monitoring, and enhance in-house analysis methods. Additionally, you will work with cross-functional teams to identify performance improvement opportunities, execute optimization strategies, and deliver actionable insights that support digitalization and sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in delivering performance monitoring and optimization projects for clients. - Provide analytical, fact-based decision support for vessel performance improvement. - Collaborate with technical teams to design, implement, and maintain vessel performance monitoring systems. - Develop and maintain in-house analysis methods for effective service delivery. - Create and manage dashboards for real-time performance tracking using tools such as Power BI and Excel. - Support operations teams in achieving digitalization and sustainability targets. - Conduct fleet performance monitoring for financial and operational optimization. - Address client/user feedback with practical and innovative solutions. - Apply knowledge of naval architecture and vessel design in analyzing performance data. - Work with cross-departmental teams, including engineering and operations, to ensure alignment of performance strategies. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (not necessarily in vessel performance). - Bachelors degree in Naval Architecture (mandatory). - Strong understanding of vessel design and hydrodynamics. - Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI. - Working knowledge of SQL and databases for data management and queries. - Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R (preferred). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Ability to structure and interpret complex datasets for decision-making. - Good communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Please note that the compensation for this role includes a salary range of 35,000 - 45,000 monthly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
